I thought I would create this pie chart for those that are interested in how I was able to visit Barcelona for under $800. The pie chart totals $733. It gives a more detailed insight on what I spent money on and how much. Please note that I did have 100 Euros in cash to spend on food where credit cards were not accepted and as additional spending money. It is not included in this chart because I did not use all of it and I did not always receive or keep receipts. For example, I bought a watermelon juice for €1 in La Boqueria Market. I did not need or want that receipt.
If you are interested in the details of each pie slice. I have included them as well.
- Transportation: Metro Card in Spain and Transportation to and from Airport (I flew out of NYC so this includes transportation to NYC and then the airport as well)
- Airbnb Experiences: My night out, Walking Tour, and Photoshoot
- Activities: La Sagrada Família and Park Güell
- Misc/Food: Food purchases where I didn’t use cash and an app I used to hold my luggage before my check in at my Airbnb.
